St Paul AME Church was built in 1859 in Bellefonte PA. This historic church is a documented site for the Underground Railroad.
We are trying to keep the doors open to this “old church on the hill” for our church continues to serve as a beacon of light to the Bellefonte and surrounding communities.
We still have our light of freedom and the sauctuary serves as a cultural center for worship and as a history center for all who want to come and join us in our spiritual legacy.
Please feel free to donate to St Paul AME Church to help with winter heating oil and utilities.
Come me and join us for worship, fellowship and history lectures about the Underground Railroad. We do UGRR tours that will resume in the spring.
