Unexpected funeral expenses

We had an unexpected passing in our family. Paula passed away in her sleep, leaving behind her significant other of 16 years, her four children and her nine grandchildren. She did not have any life insurance to help with the expenses. Her children now have to come up with the expenses all by themselves. Any help you can give is appreciated!
