We have the latest update! We found a teaching veterinary hospital at Washington State University in Pullman, WA that will do the surgery, rehab and everything for $5,000. Thank you everyone for everything - David Major a big shout out for your help getting them there!! Still working to raise a bit more money, but at least she is on her way to getting to the hospital. This is Sabrina’s mom, Michelle. As most of you are very aware Sabrina is a very independent, stubborn and proud person. She has always tried to put herself in positions where she can help others- not seeking recognition or anything in return. A recent event has resulted in Sabrina’s dog Daisy sustaining a severe back injury that will require surgery be performed within 48 hours. The surgery is estimated to be $8,000-$10,000 and cannot be performed unless it is paid for. Sabrina is not the kind of person to ask for help, let alone money, so I am here to ask for your help.
I realize this request comes with a short timeline but the resources available to Sabrina are limited and even with our help we can’t cover the surgical costs. I am making this GoFundMe as a concerned mother and animal lover. Any help you can offer would go a long way to helping Daisy and to give support to Sabrina. As you may or may not know her dog is her baby, her child and any assistance that can be offered is greatly appreciated.
If you know of a vet that might be able to help for less please feel free to provide their info. If you can help with money that would mean the world to us- even if you can only afford $1 it will help! Or if you can only drop her a line with some words of encouragement that too will be greatly appreciated. As you can imagine this is an extremely difficult time for her.
Daisy is a 3 year old spunky Mini Doxen. She has so much life left in her and it’s not her time to go. She's been by Sabrina's side through many rough patches and helps her get through life a little easier. Please, please share this on your social media so we can help Daisy keep living.
