Sri Lanka Medical Placement

Hello, my name is Taylor Bartley and I am currently in my second year of my nursing degree at Chester University. 
 
I have recently been accepted to go and study for a month in a Sri Lankan hospital to understand and be a part of the underdeveloped health care system in countries other than the UK. This will help me to grow as a nurse and broaden my knowledge further as a person. 

Whilst over there, I will be working as a volunteer in the hospital alongside Sri Lankan doctors/nurses/surgeons and will be living with the locals to understand their culture and help in any way I can.  

Although I have been fortuitous in being offered to participate in such an incredible experience, it is a self funded project. When looking at flights, vaccinations, accommodation, etc I have estimated that the whole trip should cost me around £2000. Obviously I don’t expect to raise this sort of money but it would be MASSIVELY appreciated if  you were to support me on my journey and contribute with any amount of donation.
