Spring 2019 Guatemala Mission Trip

As many of you may already know, I had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala in the spring of 2017 with an organization called Partners in Medical Missions (PIMM). Unfortunately, I had to pass on the trip last year due to school, however this year I can happily say that I am back on board. During my time in Guatemala, I got to see the world of medicine from a completely different perspective and even got to practice my Spanish in the meantime! For those who do not know, PIMM is a team of orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other surgical personnel oriented towards giving those with little to no access to healthcare, opportunities to have procedures and healthcare that would otherwise be impossible. 

I am creating this page in efforts to raise money to make my trip possible and giving back to those who are in need.
