Hi everybody! We are Calgary based designers Janet Chung and Kaare-Ann Madden.
We are seeking some financial assistance with the creation of our light up fairy gown for the MakeFashion event at Beakerhead on September 22 2018.
After many hours planning, designing, sourcing materials, applying to the show, and now of creating our dress; we have come to the realization that could use some help!
Our dress is nearly complete, and our next step is to add various types of lights to it. To achieve our vision, we need to use edge glow fibre optics, hundreds of LEDs, and a lot of other electrical components to make it all turn on. Unfortunately we don't yet know the full cost of these materials.
Asking for money is not easy, it's proving to be more stressful than worrying about money. But we've chosen to give it a try anyway with the hope that we can continue to work on our dreams and bring our vision to life.
