Sponsor a Spay - Operation Overload
Tax deductible
In the last 5 days we found 2 new cat colonies with over 35 unfixed cats in need of spay/neuter; as well as many sick kittens. We cannot get the number of TNR spay/neuter appointments that we need through our free Bonita Springs program, and we are falling hopelessly behind; so we are booking appointments at $35 each at Gulf Coast Humane Society Clinic in Ft Myers. Our goal is to fix 20 cats there in the next 3 weeks while we continue to book as many as possible at Animal Hospital of Bonita. Ten cats are already scheduled at GCHS clinic on Wed Sept 12, which will cost us $350.
Fixing 20 cats at GCHS will cost a total $700, but you can sponsor a TNR spay/neuter for just $35 per cat to help. In addition, sick and injured cats and kittens will be taken to Animal Hospital of Bonita for vetting and we will continue to fix as many as we schedule through the free program; however still we have to pay for other medical care.
Those of you who follow Community Cats of Bonita Springs know that we are on the streets every day trapping for TNR and to provide medical care to cats in need. We are willing to drive cats to GCHS if we can get funds from you, our supporters. We are 100% volunteer. Every cent donated will go toward spay/neuter surgery or medical care for sick cats. We pay for supplies and gas out of our own pockets. Please help us because unless we can fix cats at a higher volume, we will never see a decline in these outbreaks. Any amount will help! Thank you!
