We invite you to come be a part of making history for Wisconsin High School Bowling! The Sun Prairie Cardinals Boys’ Varsity Bowling Team has been invited to attend the inaugural High School Bowling National Championships in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, on July 30 – 31, 2016. Our team was invited to attend after winning Back to Back Wisconsin State High School Bowling Championships in 2015 and 2016.
This team comes out of Prairie Lanes Bowling Center, in Sun Prairie Wisconsin. Sun Prairie has been participating in High School Bowling since the 2001-2002 season with great success. In that time we’ve had 3 State Singles Champions, 3 State Team Championships, and 3 Baker 300 Games. We are excited to represent Wisconsin at the National Level.
This two day event includes a singles tournament on Saturday with three games of qualifying, then three rounds of survivor before getting to the elite eight,
final four and then the championship match. The team tournament is on Sunday starting with a dual qualifying round consisting of five players throwing three regular
games and then 3 baker games. There will then be two survivor rounds finishing with the final four and the championship match.
We are proud to represent Sun Prairie, Prairie Lanes and it’s junior bowling program with its great bowling history at this inaugural event. To make this possible,
we are looking for financial donations. Our fundraising goal is $4,500 to cover the cost of airfare and lodging.
We would appreciate any financial support you would be willing to provide to help us make our goal. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Sincerely,
Sun Prairie High School Coach
