Spencer’s pacemaker/defibrillator

Spencer was born with congenital heart defects. He underwent two open-heart surgeries before the age of one. He grew up strong, smart and musically gifted.
He graduated from NAU, taught band at several schools and is currently teaching middle school band in Colorado. He is also the leader and drummer for a local swing band.
The last couple of years have been difficult. After countless tests, ER visits, doctors appointments, medications and more tests. It was finally diagnosed that Spencer was born with an additional heart defect. Left Ventricular Non-Compaction Cardiomyopathy. LVNC
Due to the severity of his decreased heart function he will need to receive a pacemaker and defibrillator. He will have this surgery late June, 2019.
We hope everyone will come together to help us with his current medical debt and out of pocket surgery costs.
