Our story:
Abigayle is my 14 year old daughter and she struggles daily with multiple disabilities, including very severe autism, chromosome abnormalities, sensory disorders, severe eczema, allergies, seizures, a rare and usually deadly syndrome, and more. She suffers from extreme cognitive delays and is not potty-trained. She has only been able to say the word "mama" since she was 9 months old. Due to being non-verbal and loving to run from us, it is always stressful to make sure we can keep her secure. Abigayle also loves to dig in her pants all of the time, which is not fun on days where she is on her cycle or when she has bowel movements.
As the mother of sweet Abigayle, I have a unique window into several solutions that could help struggling families with children or adults that have autism, brain injuries, sensory disorders, and more. I want to share these solutions with the world and also make our special ones to be very fashionable, as they should not be left behind due to their challenges. Abigayle loves to be told she is fancy.
I am raising funds to create an online business serving the needs of these precious angels struggling to get through their days, as well as the many family members and caretakers. I want to take a few daily worries off of these families who have so much on their shoulders, as too many times they are in single family homes and living paycheck to paycheck without help. I am asking for a lot of funding, as it is very costly to create a wealth of inventory in many sizes and colors to support the demand. It is critical to do this right and without challenges for the families ordering these solutions.
These solutions are a global need and any funds could really help catapult my ability to get these products to market and accessible online for many across the globe. I want to share this dream with the world to solve daily issues for my fellow special needs parents, family members, caretakers, schools, and more. My solutions can cut costs, avoid children using their cycles or bowel movements to decorate the walls, and give a sense of security for our special needs children and adults.
