Speak Life

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, Our mother, Mary-Ann Messina, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at the age of 59. 

We, her seven children and fifteen grandchildren, are calling on you for help.
 
Our mom is the oldest of fifteen kids and was raised by kind, generous parents who taught her to live selflessly. Since the age of 16, she worked as a nurse's aide caring for the elderly, which she sincerely enjoys.  As a young mother, she would often take us to the nursing home on her days off to visit elderly patients who had no visitors. The cookies and candy were awful, but the lesson she instilled in us was to put the needs of others above our own.  She has always lived her life in this manner, and we are asking for your compassion and generosity to help us seek the best treatment and care to keep this incredible woman touching the lives of the people around her.  

Our father and we greatly appreciate the time you are taking to read a little about our mother and her diagnosis. Financial assistance would be great, but as a family with a strong faith in Jesus, prayers are equally appreciated.

In the event that monetary donations are no longer needed for our mother's care, our family will donate the remaining money to a worthy charity.
