Space Walk: Path of Totality Event

In 2007, Charlie Lotspeich and friends came up with an idea to put on a concert that would coincide with the total solar eclipse that will be occuring on August 21st, 2017. Over this decade Charlie has collaborated with various musicians to write the music and the story line for Space Walk. To have the biggest impact, the performace will be held in Cross Plains Tenneesee at Kilgore Park. This location sits directly on the Path of Totality, which will make the length of totality (time of total darkness) last for 2 minutes and 39 seconds! The event will feature concept art based on the music and storyline of Space Walk, as well as science exhibits that will cover the history of solar eclipses in the United States. We are looking for funds to help differ the cost of travel/lodging for the band, set up and rental of sound equipment, and live audio/video recording of the event. We hope to collect the funds on August 1st.
