South Sudan Medical Mission

Donation protected
Will you help fund my medical mission trip and purchase of medical supplies, for the Memorial Christian Hospital in South Sudan? After the civil war South Sudan was in ruins and had no medical care for it's 1.3 million residents.

In 2009 Partners in Compassionate Care, a Michigan based non-profit, built Memorial Christian Hospital in the village of Bor. On any given day the hospital serves around 90 people, but often lacks common diagnostic tools.

Imagine having a broken bone or undiagnosable pain from a sliver and not being able to have an X-ray. Partners in Compassionate Care has coordinated the donation of an X-ray machine to the hospital, but no one is trained in its use. I am uniquely qualified to train the MCH staff in X-ray technology, because I have been an X-Ray technologist for 35 years and taught X-ray for 5 years.

Through your generosity in raising the $3500 I need, I will be able to purchase, for MCH, equipment to analyze blood and perform ear and throat diagnostics. Then in January 2018 I will be able to travel to Bor, South Sudan. While in Bor I will train Dr. Ajak Abraham, on the use and techniques of their X-ray machine.

Many thanks and God Bless you!
