Sounds For Safety 2017

Sounds for Safety is an annual benefit concert at Harlows Restaurant & Night Club for the victims of commercial sexual exploitation in Sacramento through a non-profit called CASH (Community Against Sexual Harm), which does saintly work in our community -- http://www.cashsac.org/. This benefit aims to strike a balance between an informative and inspirational night mixing choice musical acts, guest speakers, and poetry to bring light and hope to the darkness of a few cold realities in Sacramento. We will be featuring a female-lead lineup this year, two female live painters on one massive canvas, and some of Sacramento's strongest poets between sets by incredibly talented local musicians who have come together to perform for this cause alone. Last year we raised roughly 1,500$ and we are shooting to raise 4,000$ this year (2000 of which we hope will come from this campaign)!  The net-proceeds of the benefit will be directly donated to CASH (Community Against Sexual Harm).  This year featurning a larger and stronger team of talented individuals that have all come together behind this cause, who will ensure that Sounds for Safety 2017 is a night for the ages.
