Sota's Vet Bills

Sota is my 10 year old cat recently got sick. He had diarrhea and was vomiting, but it passed and he started getting better, or so I thought. Then Saturday night he started having liquid leaking from his body, it stopped for a little bit, then started back up again Sunday morning. This went on and off until 10 am, so I took him to the vet.
After doing extensive testing, it was discovered that he has partial kidney failure. He also has an infection, which could be suppressing kidney function.
For the next month he is on medication and a special diet to see if the kidney failure can be slowed down and the infection is adding to the kidney infection.
I am trying to raise the money for the further testing that will be needed to see how he is responding to the medication and special diet. It is my hope that he shows signs of stability. and money not used for testing will be used for his care. His next visit to the vet is on September 17th, 2018.
Sota is my oldest cat. I have had him since his momma cat abandoned him at one week old. I hand fed him for the first weeks of his life, and have cared for him ever since. He is my precious boy.
Not only is he a pet, he also helps remind me to care for myself. When I forget to eat too long, he leads me to the fridge and will meow and tap it with his paw until I get something to eat. When I haven't been sleeping, he will demand cuddles, laying on my chest and purring until I pass out, and staying there to help me stay asleep. If I sleep through my medication alarms, he will wake me up to make sure that I will take my meds.
Sota means the world to me. I know his chances aren't good but I am determined to do what I can as long as there is hope. As long as he still has kidney function there is hope. Any help, no matter how small, is appreciated more than words can describe. Please share or donate.
