Girls Play Baseball!
Sophia is proud to play for the Boston Slammers 11u
2017 National Champions! The all-girl, travel baseball team made it all the way to Rockford, Illinois last year and are working hard to get back there this summer.
Sophia competed against dedicated girls from all over the country. They played hard, shared their stories and appreciated the opportunity to be just a baseball player and not "the girl on the team". The experience was so powerful, it is no surprise that this year we have enough players to bring three teams!
But, they need help to get there.
The Slammers are a team on and off the field, and the players have committed to a joint fundraising plan rather than asking each family to pay individually. Our family's goal is to raise $3,000. We will not leave any player behind because she does not have enough money to go!
Support the Slammers because you love Sophia, because you love baseball or because you love girls breaking boundaries!
