The Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters Association (501 c3 non-profit) is comprised of a 100% Volunteer Board of Directors and Volunteer Firefighters. Contrary to popular belief, the Sonoma Fireworks Show and Downtown parade/celebration is made possible by 100% donations made by the general public, that's YOU. NO money goes towards salaries.
To continue to provide a successful event YEAR AFTER YEAR we are in need of your support as we have continued to see a decrease in donations over the past several years.
Over the past 40 years, the Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters Association mission has been to provide a Safe and Sane holiday for everyone to enjoy. This includes both our residents and the many people that return to our small town year after year from other municipalities around the Bay Area and elsewhere. According to “Town and Leisure Magazine", Sonoma was ranked the Number 8th place in the nation to enjoy the 4th of July.
