Sonny's Medical Emergency Fund

As you know, our dear friend Shannon Carroll had quite a scare when Sonny, her beloved BFF (best furry friend), had a life threatening episode this week.   Sonny is a FB regular. He is a very sweet-loving, photogenic, and healthy Labrador who after returning from a short walk became extremely ill from an apparent reaction to a possible toxin he encountered. Shannon quickly rushed him to the vet; however, when the vet could no longer provide the required medical care, Sonny was transferred to an emergency medical facility. Lifesaving medical care was provided and Sonny has slowly improved. He was home recovering but had to return to the emergency facility because he was unstable. As you can imagine, the bills from this ordeal have mounted substantially and it is not certain if this was an acute reaction.
