Sol & Paz Foundation

The Sol & Paz Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps children (focus age group pre-school to kinder) understand what "charity" means, we want to teach the next generations of givers to develop the knowledge of how to be a little person with a big heart! We will attend schools to give them a presentation about various charities and what the different causes do on a local and national level.  We will teach them to recognize which causes resonate within their own hearts. Develop skills to discover their intrinsic desire to serve in their own communities.  
Each year we will have 1 big fundraiser called the "Loose Change Challenge"  because the theme is "a little goes a long way."  Children will collect loose change from their homes/friends/family with their very own "Sol & Paz" piggy bank.
Then we will empower the children to actually vote on a quarterly basis  which non-profit charity the funds will go to.  This way we will be able to highlight many wonderful charities, and help their cause.
We also will have an enrichment scholarship fund to help a youngster develop a skill, learn to dance, sing, play an instrument, sports, or art.  Funds will go to a child in need who's parents can not afford these after school activities or camps.
