Sokaklarin Sesi





“Voice Of The Streets” Sokaklarin Sesi is a small group of people that provides food, water, shelter and medical care to the street animals in Ankara, Turkey.

Our original goal is 10,000.00$ and since we’ve established this platform, we have already received 6,013.00$ in total. With GoFundMe fees and bank fees deducted, it totaled to 5,741.38$

That money had already been transferred to Turkey on May 1, 2018 in hopes of replacing the damaged car caused by a car accident last month. It is not a sufficient amount to purchase a replacement for Erkan Sahin’s choice of vehicle.

A van (Fedex type vehicle) is being considered for purchase with the money that was already transferred to him and the incoming donations.

Our immediate need is to replace the car as soon as possible. The car was temporarily repaired but the engine will not last long.

I will post the information on the vehicle Erkan would like to buy. I will also include the car dealer information, vehicle photos, year, make, model and price as soon as he provides this information to us.

It is essential to replace the car as soon as possible so he can continue visiting the feeding stations and distribute food. 

He is still in need of an additional amount of 3,500.00$ to purchase the van.

The first set of donations that was already transferred to him was 5,741.38$ from the GoFundMe platform and a portion of that amount was used to pay the car repair services Erkan received when he attempted to get it fixed. 

The previous PayPal account established in Germany under Esma Pinarbasi is no longer available and is now closed. If you have any concerns regarding your donation to that platform, please contact her. Message us and we will forward her contact information.

PayPal UK is in the process of being established for the people who cannot access GoFundMe. Once it’s ready, I will post the link.

At this very moment, GoFundMe is the ONLY official valid platform used to collect monetary donations for Sokaklarin Sesi.
