Socksie's Surgery

This is my cat Socrates. Someone thought it would be funny to shoot him with a BB gun. He came home limping and soon couldn't even move from the pain. We took him to the vet and he either has to get very expensive surgery or needs to be put down. Socrates is the nicest cat I've ever known. Everybody in the neighborhood knows and loves him. All my friends who have met him know how special he is. This would be the second cat I've lost from people's abuse in my life and it's truly disgusting. He would never hurt you so why would you hurt him?

Socrates needs a plate in his leg to repair his shattered bones or will need an amputation. Any contributions are greatly appreciated. Every bit helps. Thank you everyone that wishes Socrates well.
