Sledding field trip!

We are teachers at Frazer School, in the Syracuse City School District. In our classrooms at Frazer School, we are constantly trying to expose students to new ideas and give them experiences that they would otherwise not be able to participate in. We would like to improve and enhance our students social and educational well being by providing them with new experiences and opportunities.
At Frazer, we have students from diverse backgrounds. Many of our students have little or no opportunities in participate in winter activities. For many of the students, their first positive cold weather experience was in December when we took them ice skating. Next week, we would like to give them the opportunity to experience of sledding at Four Seasons in Fayetteville. Despite fundraising efforts, we are unable to afford the trip. The cost of the bus is $325, in addition to the cost of the tickets for sledding. Each ticket for sledding is $12 (a significant discount from the regular price of $23) and we have 40 students attending the trip between the two classes. We are unable to meet the financial requirements needed to participate in this activity and therefore need additional funds.
We are reaching out to our friends and family for help so we can enhance educational and social well being of our students. If you are able to contribute any amount, our students would really appreciate it! Any additional money raised will go toward other field trips in the spring. Thank you in advance!
