Help us keep our kitties in style by supporting AZSHFA's Spay/Neuter (Snips) and Dental (Smiles) fund! We have 8+ kittens at the shelter who are coming in to adulthood and could use your assistance covering the cost of their surgeries including one kitten who is going through a painful teething which will require his baby teeth removed by extraction. Medical needs, particularly for dental do not stop just at kittens, we also have a new senior cat in disrepair who needs several extractions ($200-250 each).

Kitten season does not stop at the shelter, and many new kittens have recently come under our care.

A responsibility that we take seriously with every animal we rescue is ensuring they are healthy, happy, and safe. For kittens this means a spay/neuter, microchip, rabies shot, and vaccinations at a minimum. This costs about $100-130 per kitty if they have no other medical issues such as being rescued with injuries, fleas, infections, or chronic conditions.

Solomon (below) and Boy-Kitty (too shy for a photo!) will each need between $200-250 for extraction surgery.

Spay/Neuter surgeries vary in cost depending on sex and required medications, typically staying between $45-75 each. Just now we have 10 kittens needing surgery with more coming in the Spring!

Our kittens (Chopin, Copeland, Franz Litz, Poulenc, Blue, Petey, Faith, and more) all need a little snip!

It is most imparative for us to help Solomon and Boy Kitty with their extractions as they are in discomfort and pain - just like a human with dental problems!
