Our hearts and prayers are with the communities, Catholic schools and all those affected by Hurricane Harvey & Irma. Many people in our school community have been asking, "How can we help?" Saint Michael School, in conjunction with the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), is answering this question by launching a campaign asking every Catholic school family around the country to contribute at least $1 per student to help Catholic schools impacted by the storm to rebuild, reopen and re-enroll students. "Student to Student: A Catholic School Response for Hurricane Relief 2017" is a powerful opportunity to engage students and community members in living the message of compassionate service to others. We invite you and your family to help us reach out to the thousands of Catholic school children who need our support by contributing at least $1.00 per student in your family by Friday, September 29th. We are confident that the students of Saint Michael School and the supporters of Catholic Education in our and surrounding communities will rise to this occasion and make a real contribution to the students and families whose lives have been turned upside down by this disaster.
NCEA will distribute 100 percent of the funds collected to the affected areas for their Catholic school communities in vital need of support due to the impact of the hurricanes
