Hello, Friends!
Thanks for checking out my latest project, SmoochyFace! I'm really excited about this project, as it represents an important "rebirth" for me after a very difficult pair of years in which I separated from my life partner (and bandmate) -- and had to start over musically, emotionally, and spiritually.
As an artist and producer, I try to be evocative, uplifiting, and socially conscious. This will be the continuing goal of SmoochyFace. Additionally, I will direct much of the project's energy to causes I believe in: human rights, animal rights, LGBTQ rights, women’s reproductive rights, the rights of indigenous people, immigrants, and all marginalized citizens.
The $2000 goal will fund three different projects
1.) A 4-Song Debut EP
This project is currently in post-production. This EP is a ~12 minute mini-concept album based on themes from The Legend of Zelda video game series and their emotional relationship to my current state of being. The finished EP will ship by June 1.
2.) T-Shirts, Stickers & Buttons.
Any touring band understands that merchandise is the bread and butter that keeps the project going. Smoochyface will be no different, as I am already working on tour dates all over the country starting in early fall. Having merch at these shows will be key in ensuring survival for my band! Merch will arrive within 30 days of funding.
3.) A Planned Follow-up LP
(CD & Cassette.) This project is in pre-production and it is a massive undertaking, since it is a rock opera of entirely original music based on the Steven Universe cartoon series. My estimation is that it will be completed in time for the New Year and will debut at MAGFest in Washington DC.
As with all of my previous fundraising efforts: EACH DONATION LEVEL WILL BE REWARDED WITH REAL PHYSICAL ITEMS. or SERVICES. You are not giving me money, you are buying into these projects and will be rewarded handsomely!
