Sikwitit Family Tornado Relief Fund

Hello, my name is Joel Garcia (Sikwitit) the brother of Kent and Jenell Sheppard. We were recently affected by the devastating tornado that hit the City of Rowlett on 12/26/15. It was classified as an EF4 with winds up to 180 mph destroying everything in its path and claiming 11 lives. My family and I unfortunately lost a lot such as property, vehicles, and sentimental valuables that were consumed by the tornado. We are now in the process of sorting through the rubble trying to pick up the pieces of what's left and figure out our next steps.
My sister and her husband are residents of Rowlett. I currently live in Waxahachie but had my vehicle parked outside their house while we were away for the holidays. I personally did not have full coverage auto insurance on my vehicle (just liablity) and it is totaled due to severe weather and water damage which currently leaves me with out a vehicle to get around in (see photos below). I talked with my insurance company and they will not cover anything. My sister and her husband (Kent & Jenell Sheppard) lost their vehicle, house and other valuables (see photos below). They are currently dealing with insurance companies as to what will be covered but are still waiting for full details.
We are asking for your help! I have had many friends and family request that we set up a GO Fund Me page in hopes for financial assistance during this devistating time of need in our lives. We are asking from the bottom of our hearts to please consider donating to our relief fund as we rebuild. All donations will be used toward:
1. Covering any and all immediate out of pocket expences occurred during the rebuilding phase that wont be reimbursed by the insurance companies.
2. Help with transportaion (replacement of vehicles that wont be covered by the insurance companies and or temporary travel expences until vehicles are replaced).
3. Any other rebuilding costs.
Any amount is greatly appreciated! If you want to help but can't give financially, you can definitely still help in other ways such as sharing our GO FUND ME link or leaving words of encouragement on our social media sites, or simply praying for us! I will be responsible for collecting all funds on be half of both parties (myself & sister) and will split and distribute all donations accordingly.
