Aloha all! I’m Sloane Leong, a self-taught cartoonist, artist, and writer of Hawaiian, Chinese, Mexican, Choctaw, and European ancestry. I’ve recently been invited to attend my first EVER residency in Angoulême at the Maison des Auteurs from January to March 2019! I'll be able to focus exclusively on my next comic alongside amazing cartoonists doing the same with their dream projects!
While there, I’ll be working on the next arc (5 issues) of my current ongoing comic series PRISM STALKER, a psychological, sci-fi action adventure from a native girls perspective!
With your support, this amazing and prestigious opportunity will become a reality for me! I’m good at living simply and on a budget, so all donations will go towards things of absolute necessity like housing while in France, travel to the residency, food and material expenses.
