Sri Srinivasa Lakshmi Narasimhan Swami, “SLN Swami”, is an ardent Sri Vaishnava from Framingham, Massachusetts.He was an ardent devotee and enthusiastic Dravida Veda Parayanakarar at Sri Lakshmi Temple, Ashland, Massachusetts.
Sri SLN Swami hails from Daarasuram in Tamil Nadu. He migrated to the US and completed his Masters in Industrial Engineering in 1997 from University of Cincinnati. He then moved to Boston area and worked at Parametric Technology,Yantra Corporation, Staples Inc and TJ Maxx with increasing technical responsibilities. Lakshmi had been a Digital Web Operations Manager with TJX since September 2016 and was an integral part of our TJX IT Organization. Lakshmi was well known to many, having worked within Digital Solution Delivery, supporting the Digital, U.S. business.
He had his Samasrayanam and Bharanyasam from 45th Jeeyar of Ahobila Matam. From an early age, he had a spiritual inclination and grew up at the foothills of Thirumalai. Out of personal interest he learnt to read Sanskrit. As he was particular about his life style conforming to Sri Vaishnava Philosophy, he also imparted the values to his children by way of stories based on 108 Divya Desam and its significance.
There will never be another Baktha who can fill his role in performing the kainkaryams (services) that our beloved Lakshmi Narasimhan had been rendering to Divya Dampathis. He lived a contented life and continuously thought of serving the Lord in a very unique way. The loss is just not for his immediate family and friends, but for the divya dampathis at our Sri Lakshmi Temple.
Lakshmi Narasimhan is survived by his mother, father, wife, daughter and son. Please include Lakshmi’s family in your prayers for them to get strength and support while navigating through this tough time.
