Slater & Slater Garage Fire

On November 18th a car being repaired at Slater & Slater (my inlaw's automotive repair shop) caught fire while on a lift. Thankfully nobody was injured. After calling the fire department they tried unsuccessfully to put out the fire. An attempt to get the car off the lift and push it outside also failed. The fire department arrived in time to save the structure though one wall, much of the ceiling and both garage doors will need to be replaced. In addition to the car being repaired the hydraulic lift, air compressor, welding equipment and thousands of dollars of automotive equipment and tools were damaged or destroyed. The insurance settlement will barely cover the repairs to the building.  With most of the equipment damaged and no place to work they have lost a major source of income for the family.  Since family, friends and customers of Andy and Bonny Slater asked how they could help we have setup this campaign to help get Slater & Slater back up and running as soon as possible.
