Hello World! I’m Noah Campbell and I attend Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia. I live to run long distance and never imagined when I joined my high school track team four years ago that running would impact my life so profoundly. From Virginia state championship meets to the USATF National Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships to back-to-back titles in my division at the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K, the longer the distance and the greater the challenge, the better I like it. I am excited to be joining the University of Richmond’s NCAA Division I cross country team next fall.
Before I head off to college, I have been selected for an opportunity beyond my wildest dreams. I have been chosen to represent the United States in the 3rd Annual Youth Skyrunning World Championships to be held in Fonte Cerreto, L’Aquila, Italy on August 3-5, 2018. There will be two World Championship races, a Vertical Kilometer Championship on Friday, August 3 and a 20-21K Sky Race Championship on Sunday, August 5th. This competition not only means racing against phenomenal athletes from around the world while representing Team USA, but is a chance to join people from all walks of life, cultures, and nations through a shared passion for running. I am so honored to represent the United States.
My expenses for this chance of a lifetime will be approximately $3,500. I greatly appreciate any and all support!
