Skin Cancer Melanoma

Unfortunately, my treatment options are now coming to an end. The cancer is becoming aggressive, unresponsive and difficult to treat.

Here is a little about me! 

I'm Nicolas Niki, age 32 from New York.

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Incureable Secondary Skin Cancer in July 2016.  
My skin cancer has spread to my Liver and Lungs. (There is no stage 5)

I have wonderful wife and 4 young children. 
In August 2016 i started Chemotherapy and to this day i have been on Chemotherapy every 3 weeks.
Some of the Chemotherapies nearly killed me, however i am still here and have just had my 50th Chemotherapy Treatment. I have responded to some better than others and have been on the most recent Chemotherapy for the past 18 months.
When i was diagnosed i was given just 8 months to live, but have defined the odds against me.


In January we set up a go fund me page with a target of £50,000 to go for Alternative treatment in America. 
Before we set out to America to start treatment I had a wonderful consultation with a expert in Nottingham who specialises in private cancer consultancy and working at the forefront of cancer treatment developments around the world.

She advised us about the Hallwang Clinic in Germany and advised us this was one of the best clinics in the world offering the latest Integrated medicine along with alternative treatments.

We came away from this meeting full of hope so contacted the clinic straight away and started further research.

We soon realised the original plan of going to the American Clinic was not the right choice for me….
We set an initial target of £50,000 to get to America, this was including the cost of flights, 3 weeks of Alternative treatments and the stay at the clinic.

We decided to visit the Hallwang Clinic in Germany, First for an initial consultation with the Doctor.

Last week i flew to Germany for the second time to start some treatment. 




They want to administer to me the latest integrated medicine including immune therapy vaccines. 
The cost of the treatment and vaccines far outweighed our initial financial calculations.

The initial cost of treatment over the next 2-3 weeks will cost 10,000 Euros. 
The clinic want me to do an initial 2 months of treatment, then i will have another scan where they would expect to see response from the Immune Therapy.. 



These latest treatments could possibly lead to ‘remission’ a word that i have never heard mention in secondary skin cancer in the nearly 5 years since diagnosis. 
They have patients at the clinic with secondary skin cancer who have had incredible and unbelievable response from Immune Therapy. 

Obviously this means we are going to need to push the fund higher in the hope of securing the treatment plan that the Hallwang Clinic offer. 

Please please please can everyone continue to support, fundraise and donate so I can proceed with this treatment. 

I hope to give Daily or weekly updates regarding my health, treatment and thoughts. Which I hope to be useful and inform you all of this journey that I am on. 
I realise that I am again asking for help but the only alternative is to give up.

I watched my daughter sing the Colinda song last night with a tear in my eye. 
The other children were happily playing Monopoly.
Family Bliss. Sometimes it is just too perfect. 

My 4 children need their dad.
My wife needs her husbend.
