Hoping We Find Justice For Taylor

It pains me to even have to create this GoFundMe account, especially when I'm used to being the one reading the stories and donating to others. It's hard being on the other side, even harder when it's for your own child.
I created this account for my daughter, Taylor, in hopes that we could all come together to help her while she is out of work. Every dollar helps!
Unfortunately since the incident Taylor has been on an unpaid medical leave and we aren't even sure yet how much longer till she can return back to work.
The medical expenses just keep piling up and no sight to when they may stop. Taylor has also been living on her own for the last couple of years, so she has plenty of her own bills to pay every month. Her Step-Father and I have been helping her evey bit we can, unfortunately the bills are coming in faster then any of us can keep up!
The worst part is seeing what this incident has done, not only physically but mentally to my daughter. This has completely set her into a state of depression/anxiety. Taylor has just been feeling defeated every which way in this whole case. Everytime we think she's on the mend, she gets another major set back. It hurts me so bad, to see her like this.

A couple days ago, Taylor has been experiencing major headaches, loss of appetite and neck pain since the incident. So we set her up to see our chiropractor and get her assessed with a treatment plan, in hopes for some relief. Thank God for our amazing Chiropractor (Dr. Ryan Felde) he found 2 fractures in the base of Taylor's neck/ top of her spine. Unfortunately there will be no adjusting or treatment by a chiropractor until she is fully healed.
Today as we sat at yet another specialist appointment, Taylor heard back from the detective on the case, only to confirm he was closing the case. He said " I exhausted all options and after viewing all of the surveillance cameras near by, I wasn't able to get a clear enough ID on the assailants so unless someone turns themselves in... I'm sorry" he also mentioned that the first responding police officers, were not part of the Salem PD
Too be honest I'm not even sure if there was much of a police report made at the scene that night... Other then the one the detective made after visiting Taylor in the hospital.
*Which the Salem police department assigned the detective to her case, because I called them and demanded that an officer go to the hospital and take pictures of my daughter's injuries and get her full statement since it had been over 2 hours since Taylor was brought in by ambulance and the ER doctors told me, that no officers had been in yet!
Believe me, I stand behind our heroes in Blue every day! I'm a proud Granddaughter of a retired Police Chief. I understand they put their life on the line everyday, and I appreciate and respect that.
But in my daughter's case, there were multiple mistakes made and that would upset any civilian/ parent...
The whole situation is horrible, I just wish there was some sort of Justice that could be served for what my daughter has endured these past 2 weeks and that the man responsible wasn't walking freely right now. I do however believe there is a special place in hell with his name on it!
I pray that one day we live in a world where LOVE ALWAYS WINS!

No Mother ever wants to receive a phone call from an unknown number late at night, and have it be your oldest daughter hysterically crying, telling you she's in the hospital.
Unfortunately I received one of those calls on Halloween Night 2018...
My daughter, Taylor and her boyfriend went on a road trip along the east coast. They ended their trip to Salem, Massachusetts to celebrate Halloween.
The streets of downtown Salem were packed with people from all over the world celebrating Halloween. Taylor and her boyfriend were walking through the busy crowds, when Adam accidentally bumped into a group of 4 guys. These guys started talking crap and then 3 of the 4 ended up jumping my daughter's boyfriend Adam, when my daughter tried to stop them, one of the punks punched my daughter in her face, knocking her out unconscious to the ground. People that know Taylor, knows she's very petite 5'5 and weighs maybe 100 pounds soaking wet and the least bit non-confrontational person!
Police arrived to the scene as the fight was getting broken up & called an ambulance for Taylor. *we are still looking for the Male witness that yelled he was a nurse and quickly assisted with Taylor*
The Salem Police took my daughter's boyfriend into protective custody, because he was screaming and yelling (he was also balling his eyes out as he watched his girlfriend lay unconscious and bleed profusely out of her nose) he was just so worked up and trying to tell the police officers which guys were responsible for starting the fight and hitting my daughter! Adam was held in protective custody for 8 hours, before being released, meanwhile my daughter sat alone in an Emergency room.
No REAL arrests were ever made that night. All 4 assailants got away!!
At first, Taylor had no clue where Adam was, since first thing she remembers after getting punched, is waking up in the hospital bed. Both of their cell phones were dead and had no way of getting a hold of each other. Taylor was worried about him. So I had the hospital staff looking to see if Adam was brought in too with injuries and they said no, just Taylor.
So I called the Salem Police Station and at first the police officer told me, 5 guys had just been brought in but none were in the system yet so he wasn't sure If Adam was one of those guys. 10 min later, he calls me back and says Yes we have Adam, but he hasn't been arrested, we just have him in for protective custody, and we will release him soon.
The police officer couldn't tell me if the other 4, were the guys that started the fight or even if, one of them, was the one responsible for Taylor's assault! He said they had no witnesses that came forward yet! (NONE were ever questioned)
Taylor was left behind with a very swollen broken nose, 5 stitches to the side of her nose, subconjunctival hemorrhage to both eyes, 3 chipped teeth and a fracture to her wrist.
*now 2 weeks later & we just found out by our chiropractor, that she has 2 fractures in her neck that was missed by the Salem ER!
I'm sure most parents can relate to how I felt when the doctor called me to go over all of her injuries with me. All I wanted was to be by her side and not feel like I was a million miles away.
Trust me this Mama Bear wishes she could run into this guy! I would love to rip his man parts off, since the only word that comes to mind when a guy hits a woman; is exactly what this punk should have between his legs!
Adam was able to be released from protective custody and made it to the hospital the next morning to be with Taylor. I told him he needed to go back to the Police Station asap and demand an answer if these guys were ever arrested and if not WHY? So he went back & The Salem Police Station told him No arrests were made, and because there was no witnesses that came forward and that they couldn't use Adam as a witness because he had been drinking. WHAT The F*×k!
Now these scum bags are walking the streets freely!
