Losing My Home, Need Help Moving

Unfortunately, it is no longer a matter of saving my home. I've faced reality with that one. I have a place to move, but I need help moving. Heck, I don't even have the money to buy gas to get down to the house. I'm that broke.
The garage door at the house is broken. I've been pricing motors. It looks like it will take about $250 for a new one. Then, I need to pay someone to install it. I need to buy tissue, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, and about a dozen or so plastic boxes. I suspect the other boxes I need, I can take down to the house, unload them, and recycle.
I can't afford to pay movers. I'll also be needing to sell some of my furniture. It won't bring much because I buy distressed, second hand things and refinish them. I'll be lucky to get $100 for everything I'm trying to sell that way. I'm even going to sell my dishwasher.
The shower needs to be retiled before I can even use it. That's another $500 plus labor.
Then, the yard looks like something from the Addams Family! Serious work needs to be done near the storage building. It's where Mama Mountain Lion likes to hide with the fam.
My estimate is it is going to take $5000 for this orgy.
It is so very frustrating. I think the option to remain here ended the other day when a body was discovered less than a block from where I live. The person, a drug addict, was living less than a block from me. Allegedly, he died of an over-dose, and fell over a fence, into a ditch, then stayed there for nearly two weeks.
You think I want to live here, now?
I don't believe in giving something for nothing. I don't want charity. I will be giving copies of my books, along with other things. Somewhere I have several complete sets of Star Wars Burger King glasses.
I promise I will return kindness with a bon. I haven't quite figured out the thank-you reward, but it will include copies of my books, and maybe a few Star Wars glasses if you wish. I know, it isn't much but it is what I can do.
I need to rebuild my life. There are basics I need, just to get by. I have a few ideas in mind. Those who help will find out what’s going on. You will also receive a free copy of my next book. With luck it will be my first murder mystery. The overage will help me buy ink to print a copy out for edits, and get on with my life.
