Sizer School Band Fundraiser

Sizer School has a new band club.  It was started by my son, Ethan & myself.    It took 6 months of coordinating, conferences, grant writing, dedication (& a grant award from the Fitchburg Cultural Council, to get it going. We had a great time, learning & playing from March until the end of last school year, culminating in musical performances.

We learned a lot & made many changes.  We started up again in October, with new teachers and even new students.  We are a small, but dedicated group and we hope to continue to grow our vision & our numbers.

We were blessed to be awarded a grant again this year, though it is not enough to pay for teachers and instruments and all that we need to keep running smoothly.

I have put a lot of time and energy into this vision and really want to see it continue to nurture and engage our students for many years to come.  We are in a young stage right now and could really use the support of our community, to help us over the gap.

We are planning more performances at Sizer School & within the local Fitchburg community.  We hope to engage as many people as possible.
