Single mum with incurable illness

Anyone who knows Jazmin Dervish will know how much of an absolutely incredible human being she is and how many people she has helped and saved throughout her professional career and personal life. Through helping gangs and youths in some of the most dangerous areas in the UK (and world) both in person and through more political ways, she has bettered the lives of countless people, whilst putting her own life at risk endlessly, and has never asked for much in return at any point. I know that she has helped me personally as well, more times than I can count, and I am sure that most people who have ever known her, will be able to say the same thing. She is also an animal rights activist and has been for over 20 years. 

Unfortunately,  in January 2016 she was diagnosed with Lupus and things ever since have been going drastically down hill with her health. She has also got severe connective tissue disease and has now lost a devastating amount of the connective tissue in her body and over the past month has been hospitalized and been very close to losing her life due to contracting double pneumonia which she is still not clear of which is causing her difficulties with her lungs.  

For a single mother with an incredible 12 year old child, all I want, as I am sure everyone else who knows her does, is make sure that the time that she has left on this earth be as long and as comfortable and wonderful as possible. So right now, making sure she is able to stay in her home is the number one priority, as is trying to help to remove the stress and worry of her losing her home. So this page is for anyone who is able to contribute anything AT ALL towards that. I understand that asking people to donate money to an actual person as opposed to a charity or organisation, is a big ask, but you will be directly helping to give back to a person who has given so much to others! 

Anyone who has any ideas or plans to do any fundraising, please let me know. I will hopefully be organizing a few things in the near future.
