Single Dad lost everything in fire

My Dad has lived in this house for 30 years. In this house he has started a business and is currently  raising the last one of 10 kids.  Although he has lost everything EVERYONE made it out safe. Now that he is on a new path in life I would like to help him ease the burden. He had fire insurance and in the past 20 years never made a claim on it despite being able to but because  of that his insurance not matching the actual value of his home so I am worried about how far it will go. We will know more when the insurance comes out between now and next Thursday.
