We are reaching out to you to ask for prayers and help for Kildare and his family after a tragic accident has left him and his family in a position of incredible hardship.
On Tuesday, March 7th, Kildare Lima Silva was in a life threatening accident while bicycling to work. He suffered devastating injury to his spine, specifically the C3/C4 Vertebrae and is currently unable to move his body below the shoulders. Kildare and his wife Rebeca had just welcomed their second child in October and have used all the availble FMLA allowances. Rebeca will need to take time off of work to care for Kildare and her two young children and the expenses are expected to be significant. Anyone who knows Kildare and his family can attest to what a warm and giving family they are - any amount of help is very much appreciated.
