Sidewalk Opera

Hello, world!

We are Catherine and Jacob, a soprano+violist husband/wife team, and we are thrilled to officially launch our passion project called Sidewalk Opera.

We believe that music is powerful in a unique and incomparable way. Because of this, we hope to increase the accessibility of music by bringing it directly to doorsteps in various communities.

No pricey concert tickets. Just music. That's our mission.

Based in Raleigh, NC, we perform pop-up classical music concerts on sidewalks and in shops and businesses in surrounding communities. We are grateful for this opportunity to share music we truly enjoy. We hope you enjoy it, too.

If you wish to chip in a dollar or two toward this cause, 90% of our proceeds go toward providing music lessons and instruments for low-income families. 10% goes toward keeping us on the road.
