Hi everyone
My name is Monica, I am raising funds for my mom. She has diabetes and its getting worse. Few months ago she had an operation, she had a toe amputation, oh she had so much pain and didn't get the proper medical help due of her race. Doctors treated her differently in her entire life because of that and they didn't care about her health. They just decided to cut her body parts and giving no instructions how to take care of her self. For 10 months she had to live in pain and no healing at all.
Her doctors said that her wounds healing just perfectly fine but it was all lie.
Because of the doctors carelessness her wounds got worse, and she had another operation a few days ago, and she had a below knee amputation. This is very sad.
My mom is very poor and both of my parents are sick. My lost her job due of her condition. My father has so many health problems, like previous kidney stones, high blood pressure etc. but still working for min wage. Which is barely enough for them.
They requested a prescription from the doctor so they could get a wheelchair on a cheaper price but they denied my mom request without a reason.
Then, her health care card is expired and cannot buy her medicines.
Another sad thing happened with them, they lost their house because they couldn't keep up with the bills and I am raising money for her so she could pay for the overdue mortgage bills then she might be able to save her home.
Now she is afraid that if she cannot buy her medicines and other neccessary things she will end up worse.

I am living in Canada very far from her and cannot afford it to be there for her, I wish I could be there with her but cannot afford it.
We are raising funds so then I would be able to get her a wheelchair and medicines, pay her overdue bills. Later on I would be able to go to see her.
