Sick baby, lots of missed work

On Tuesday 1/22/19 my son, Abel (22months)  went in for a routine surgery, removal of his tonsils and adenoids. Tuesday night was pretty rough, but we thought by Wednesday afternoon he was doing well enough to go home. We get home and he starts refusing to eat and drink, and by 3am he is running a 104* fever! After going back and forth with his drs office all morning Thursday  we get him in to the dr at 10:30am. By 2pm we’re admitted into Beacons Children’s hospital at Memorial in the pediatric icu. They give him lots of fluid, lots of pokes, and get him on what we thought was the mend. By 7pm he’s smiling, giggling, and playing with some trucks.. he took a short nap, and at 8:45 I notice his entire body trembling. BP is 50/30, fever spiked to 103.7, and lethargic, all of his limbs are ice cold, his oxygen levels were extremely low,  and still trembling. He developed sepsis. We have him on the mend, but it’s going to be a little bit of a battle, and I have missed, and will continue to miss a lot of work. I have two beautiful children to support, and bills to pay, and I live paycheck to days before next paycheck as it is, with no assistance. I’m breaking, and asking for help in this time of need for my children and myself.. anything will help, and is greatly appreciated..  stressing over how I’m going to pay my bills and feed my children on top of Abel being hospitalized until further notice is more than I can handle right now..
