Funeral Costs for Julian

Tragically my brother passed away suddenly on October, 28, 2018. He struggled with addiction and was clean for a year. This is a real epidemic and we need to wake up and do something. I didn’t want to lose my brother so young. Hes my best friend and he has such a good heart. Drugs took so much from him but not his humanity. I can’t even process this myself but my dad is miserable and we were already struggling to pay our bills. He’s planning on going back to work at the end of the week but funeral costs as of right now are around $5000. There may be more to pay for but so far that’s the number we were given. The extra thousand I added is to help us pay our bills. We were already struggling and this has broken us. I never wanted to make one of these but I also didn’t think I’d lose my brother now. Anything helps, even just spreading the word. The epidemic is insane and we need to fight it. I want to memorialize who Julian was not his bad habits. Hold your loved ones close and take this as a lesson. I never thought it would be me either. We are supposed to pay the funeral home by Thursday but may try to get a credit card as well otherwise we will have to hold the service off for another week.
