Show your love for our little CF warrior

As many of you know, this is Maelynn Grace, she is the daughter of Brittany Cooley and Tyler Rachel. This sweet baby was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis shortly after she was born this past September and since then, has been going to Jackson to see her team of doctors each month so that they can closely monitor her health. On Monday, April 22  at her regularly scheduled appointment, she was in good health. Then, just two days later she was having trouble breathing and had to be taken to the ER where they made the decision to transfer her to USA by ambulance. After being hospitalized, the doctors noticed her right lung being collapsed and they had to go in to remove the mucus plugs on Saturday. The results of her blood and sputum cultures now show staphylococcus aureus and Aeromonas, which means she will have to remain in the hospital until tests start to show improvement.
I started this GoFundMe so that anyone who wants to can make a donation to help offset the expenses that Maelynn and her family are going to incur during her journey to constantly battle the symptoms associated with her condition. If you’re not familiar with CF, it’s a very serious condition, which means that hospital stays may be often for this precious baby and her family. While, Maelynn does have insurance and they have not asked for anything other than prayers, I know they would appreciate any contributions due to the fact that Brittany, Tyler, and some other family members will miss work when Maelynn has to be hospitalized. Brittany and Tyler were in the process of closing on a home when this happened so hopefully they might still be able to once Maelynn is better. 
For those of you that don’t know Brittany, she came into our lives almost 3 years ago as Katelyn’s hitting coach and I am so thankful for her. She’s not only improved Katelyn’s skills at softball, she has taught her to believe in herself, taught her self discipline, increased her confidence and is really helping shape her into the wonderful young woman she is becoming.
