Outback Futures is a not- for-profit charity that provides direct mental health and well-being services to rural and remote communities impacted by drought.

Outback life is inherently isolated with accessible and consistent support hard to come by at the best of times, but in times of drought, all levels of community are impacted. Many farmers and their families are struggling to manage without a reliable income for years, balancing loss, pressure and extreme stress year after year. When farmers don’t have money to spend, town businesses suffer as well. Outback towns are battle-weary and small communities are worn out from trying to support one another without relief. Suicides and loss  have taken their toll and our Outback Family urgently needs our support… Not just through short-term gifts but with service provision that is about long-term renewal of  hope, building resilience and strengthening community through quality and reliable mental health and well-being support. Outback Futures works with bush communities to determine their needs and the best ways to help… Let's go SHOULDER 2 SHOULDER with our Outback Family.
