Sherri Dolecki End-of-Life Fund

"Here's to life!" 

This is always the message that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and Mima (the greatest ever) always repeated. And she truly lived that message every day of her life. 

So it is with oceans of powerful sadness that we regretfully announce that Sherri Dolecki is close to the end of her vicious and hard-fought battle against brain cancer. Today, she was moved to Hospice of the Valley's inpatient facility at St. Joseph's hospital in Phoenix, however on May 23rd, she will finally be returning to her home with the aid of Hospice care to make sure her last days in this world are enjoyed in peace and serenity with her family, friends and her furry feline babies. 

Because of how her disease has progressed, Sherri is fully immobile and unable at this time to even chew or swallow food. We are reaching out to anyone who can help out our family at this time. She requires all the love and attention we can give her right now, so this is where we reach out to you.

We are requesting help on hiring an additional caregiver, on top of the care provided by Hospice, to help us out with her daily requirements, such as cleaning her up, moving her and feeding her wherever possible. We also want to help her closest family members who live elsewhere, namely her oldest daughter Amanda, to be by her side. We are also requesting help for after she passes, covering funeral expenses and making sure her final wishes are carried out. 

Most of you who know Sherri have already been amazingly generous with your time and your resources. But if you can assist in making her final days the best that this amazing woman deserves, we would all be eternally grateful.
