Sherlock's ACL Surgery

My dog Sherlock is 3 and a half years old and through unlucky genetics has torn both of his hind leg ACLs and requires two separate surgery.
Each surgery will cost about $4,800.00 and will require 2 months recovery period where he will confined to a crate and unable to exercise. The surgeries cannot be delayed as the torn ACLs are resulting in bone degregation so they must be done as soon as possible. The vet has assured me that if completed he should make a full recovery.
The first surgery is scheduled for Thursday 9/6/18, and the second surgery will be done 2 months later.
Sherlock is an extremely active dog and is used to getting exercise everyday, often twice a day. This transition will be incredibly difficult. He won't quite understand why he's being put in a crate, why he's in pain and why he isn't allowed to be exercised for 4 months.
In addition, while I work full time minimum wage I cannot afford $10,000.00 in surgery costs at this time. Skipping the surgery is not an option, I will find a way to make it work one way or another but any bit that can be offered would be more than appreciated. Even sharing this page around can be extremely helpful.
I love Sherlock more than I can say and just hope he can recover as quickly as possible. He has changed my life and given me such a positive outlook on life. Thanks for listening.
