Bridget WILL Beat This! #TEAMSHELL

Bridget Gulley, also known as Shell, was diagnosed with breast cancer one year ago. Since her diagnosis, she has received a double mastecomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Bridget felt relief thinking she was free of this awful disease after undergoing her last radiation treatment on January 17, 2017.   On the night of March 5, 2017,  Bridget had a seizure that lasted seven minutes. She was admitted to Wadley Regional Medical Center and had an MRI the next day. The MRI showed that Bridget had two lesions on her brain , other spots on her ribs and back, and her cancer could be at stage 4.
Bridget wears many hats as a sister, friend, preschool teacher and most importantly the single parent of a fifteen year old.  She has been employed at Magnolia Specialized Services, Inc. since 1/6/2005 working as a teacher for childlren ages 3 to 5 who have special needs.  In addition, Bridget drives a van to transport the children and adults to school every day.  She is also very loved by all of her co-workers, friends, and family.  She works hard at two jobs but struggles to make ends meet.   Bridget does not deserve to fight this fight alone.  One of Bridget's physicians recommended that she seek treatment at MD Anderson in Houston.  The funds given through this link will help pay Bridget's medical bills and many other expenses that accrue as she is not able to attend work at this time while awaiting treatment at MD Anderson.
