Shelley Fighting Sarcoma Cancer

Donation protected
My beautiful, brave and bold sister has had a rough go at life lately, sometimes you can never really know what will come at you next and this was unexpected and caused life to flip upside down. 6 months ago or so Shelley went in to get a lump on her foot checked that turned out to be a Soft Tissue Sarcoma. The lump grew to the size of an avocado by the time it was removed and the determination of her diagnosis was made. When you go to get things like this checked you never know but it was found to be an incredibly rare and aggressive form of Cancer. The past few months have been trying to say the least. Shelley, her husband, Mike; their son, Logan who is 12 along with their two dogs have had to brace the storm of what a medical diagnosis like this brings to a family. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Soft tissue sarcoma, this unfortunately means that the cancer has spread and metastasized in other areas of her body. Current scans showed there are cells on her lungs, sternum and spine. She has begun an aggressive chemotherapy regime to fight and minimize the cells from spreading further.  In addition to this the tumor on her foot has left irreparable damage to her foot where the tumor was removed. She will begin radiation in addition to the chemotherapy treatment plus aiming through physical therapy to regain strength in her foot. There are numerous moving parts to her treatment as it has just begun. Shelley is currently on medical disability and has insurance but a diagnosis like this brings financial strain beyond medical bills as the normalcy of life is taken away to survive this diagnosis.  My sister has shown fight and fierceness as this journey is beginning.  Shelley is beyond grateful for her husband, family, friends and the variety and vast array of medical staff that has aided in this difficult time. Please consider donating to aid in the treatment cost as even with insurance the astronomical price tag of our healthcare system and the necessity for aggressive and quick treatment are necessary in addition to typical living expenses. Any assistance to lighten the burden of what life has unexpectedly throw at my sister and her family would be appreciated beyond words.  Thank you so much for your consideration, every little bit helps and regardless of financial assistance please keep positive and healing thoughts for this situation as hopes for Shelley to respond well to treatment.
