Shelby Griffith

Shelby Griffith was the victim of a carjacking on Tuesday afternoon in her Hazel Dell neighborhood.

A stranger opened her car door and jumped on her lap. She tried to escape and jump out but her arm got caught on the seat belt harness and she was dragged.  She was injured on both legs with huge gashes and is bruised and sore all over  Her car was damaged and she no longer has it. 

They caught the guy who carjacked Shelby and will be going to jail on multiple charges.

Shelby's car went into police evidence and an impound lot. Shelby was told that she had to pay over $500 to get it out or they wouldn't release her car.  It had the airbags that were deployed and we don't even know if the car is drivable. 

She really needs some help getting another car and now she will have medical bills on top of that.  

Shelby is still processing what happened and can really use all the help that she can get. She is a single mother of a 3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl.  Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
