Mom's Journey To Fight Cancer

This past July our Mom started experiencing what she thought were normal symptoms of just not feeling well. She was experiencing episodes of bad headaches, mild hearing loss in her ear, and half facial numbness. On August 31, 2016 Our Mom was diagnosed with stage 4A Nasopharyngeal Cancer, which is a rare type of Cancer.
We live in Hawaii on the Island of Kauai where Our Mom and Dad live in a 2 bedroom house. Unfortunately next month (Nov.) will make 6 years that they both will be living without electricity and running water. Their living conditions are not ideal, they don't even have a refrigerator. Food bought is only what their cooler can accommodate. Most times they will come to our houses to shower, and sometimes even shower at the beach. Those circumstances are not by choice, but requires another undesirable action that is another obstacle on their plate.
Mom's Cancer Treatment Team has targeted treatment to start the week of 10/24/2016. Her treatment will consist of a combination of Chemo and Radiation for a total of 7 weeks. Last month (Sept. 2016) Mom had to get major dental work done (loss of 18 teeth) to prep for radiation treatment. She also recently had a PEG Tube placed in her stomach because of potential complications with ingesting any foods during treatment. Please also keep in mind their living conditions which results in no fresh water for her PEG Tube which needs to be flushed three times a day.
Any monetary donations will help go towards all of Mom's medical expenses and to support her undesirable living conditions at it's utmost potential. Our mission is to set up this campaign for our Mom, Praying that this GoFundMe campaign will help her extremely in all aspects during this hardship of time. Treatment will be tough but we as her kids and the support from all, we are praying for the best for a positive and speedy recovery to the full extent as possible. Having this campaign for Mom helps show her that this is one of the positive things she can look forward to knowing that not only our family is here to support her with love, but also all of you who are following her journey to fight this rare type of Cancer.
Mom has us, her 4 daughters Dayna, D'lissa, Chelsey and Nicole. She's also the best Mama to her 11 grandchildren. We will all be with her to support her on this journey to fight. We are continuously praying and hoping for the best that her treatment goes well and she kicks this cancers butt.
