Help Windsor Animals Stay At Home!

Beginning in 2011, the Friends of Windsor Animal Care and Control has operated a pet food pantry out of a private residence, as well as the Windsor Dog Pound on Mechanic St. in Windsor. We are an all volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization.
The Town of Windsor is building a new animal shelter at the corner of Bloomfield Ave. and Marshall Phelps Rd. The storage in this facility is minimal. We are also going to be losing our storage area at the private residence utilized in town.
We hope to raise enough funds through this GOFUNDME account to purchase a large shed, which will then be placed on the property where the new animal shelter is being constructed. This will allow us to continue to provide residents with necessary pet food allowing them to keep their animals rather than surrender them. We currently serve anywhere from 70-100 families each month providing them with pet food which is donated to our organization.
